Music that’s soundtracking this past week:

• Alvvays, “Antisocialites” – “Party Police” never left my playlists so I was surprised & delighted when the new album dropped.
• Kllo – I’m way late to the game hearing this band, & there’s a new album, Backwater,  coming next month which has me excited.
• The National – Excited for the new LP coming in a few days, so TROUBLE WILL FIND ME has come back into heavy rotation. Heavy.
• SAFIA – Internal – This one takes a little while to sink its hooks into you, but “Over You” will make your body move like a premium Chef Faker Jam.
• Maya Jane Coles – Take Flight – Its hard to explain, but the old-school vibe of this one struck a chord with me immediately — maybe its just playing off of my love for Garbage, Portishead, Massive Attack, & the xx — but regardless: All the things.
